I am pleased to advise you that the application for the Infrastructure Support and Sustainability Project (ISSP) grant is now available.
The ISSP is administered by United Way of York Region and is funded as part of a grant from The Ontario Trillium Foundation. The ISSP is designed to provide support to any non-profit organization in the environment, sports and recreation, arts and culture and human service sectors that serves residents in York Region.
UWYR is aware of the need of some organizations for direct support and practical assistance in implementing projects that will strengthen their organizational infrastructure. The ISSP makes funding available to non-profit organizations to hire a professional Consultant who will provide hands-on assistance with the initiation, ongoing support, and/or completion of an organizational core competency project.
A total of $11,400 is available this year for Projects to be completed no later than June 30, 2008. ISSP support will take the form of a paid Consultant to assist with projects that are equal to or less than 14 (7.0 hours) consulting days at a per diem rate of $600, GST inclusive.
Completed applications are due November 23, 2007 for Projects to be completed no later than June 30, 2008.
