THE ENTREPRENEURIAL ALGORITHM: "UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS OF INNOVATION”

This workshop will provide participants with an “Entrepreneurial Algorithm”. Participants will be able to add to their existing toolbox an entrepreneurial way of thinking which will result in: an increase in self-confidence, a more proactive approach to business development, enhanced power to influence positive outcomes from initiatives, and a sharpened ability to generate and evaluate meaningful business opportunities.
Learning Objectives: •Convince participants that they have no alternative but to successfully introduce entrepreneurial opportunities to the marketplace
•Provide participants with an “Entrepreneurial Algorithm” (an entrepreneurial way of thinking)
•Provide participants with a simple yet powerful strategic framework from which they could utilize to more effectively introduce entrepreneurial opportunities
•Provide participants with tools that will enable them to generate valuable entrepreneurial opportunities by effectively evolving their initial economic conditions
Guest Speaker: Neil Wolff, BComm, MBA Chair, Management, Entrepreneurship and Strategy Ted Rogers School of Management Ryerson University
Neil Wolff has been involved in many business start-ups and consulting endeavours. His research interests feature a strategic framework to acquire resources, opportunity identification in business development and self-employment. He actively mentors young entrepreneurs and lectures extensively on Strategic Entrepreneurship to many organizations.
