Markham Introduces Delegates On Business Mission to China
Come and meet the delegates participating in the upcoming 2008 Markham China Business Mission.

Where: Great Hall, Markham Civic Centre (northwest corner of Highway 7 and Warden Ave.)
Led by Honorary Mission Chair and Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti, about 20 delegates from local GTA businesses and associations will be part of the 2008 Markham Chinese Business Mission from March 28 to April 8. The Mission includes representatives of organizations already doing business in, actively pursuing, or considering entering the Chinese market.
Organized by the Markham Board of Trade and the Richmond Hill & Markham Chinese Business Association, with the support of the Town of Markham, the delegates will explore opportunities to form partnerships that will result in increased trade and investment.
The Mission will visit Shanghai; Wuhan, Markham's twin city and a major manufacturing centre; Beijing – home to the Zhongguancun Science Park which has an office in Markham; and Hong Kong.
