The organizing committee of the York South MS Golf Tournament is pleased to announce that the 22nd annual event will be held on Wednesday August 19th, 2009 at the Mandarin Golf Club (Markham)

The York South MS chapter was established in 1984 by community members and/or their spouses who were suffering from Multiple Sclerosis .  The golf tournament was first established in 1986 with the prime purpose of raising funds to assist people with MS and supporting medical research into new treatments and ultimately a cure for MS.  To date,  in excess of $750,000.00, directed to MS research in the quest for a cure.
The volunteers organizing this golf tournament are looking for sponsorships and golfers! Any assistance to help find a cure for this debilitating disease  will be very much appreciated.  Please click here for the sponsorship opportunities and golf prices.

Events of the Day
10:30 a.m. Registration
11:00 a.m. Brunch
12:15 p.m. Shotgun start, scramble format
4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Relaxation
6:45 p.m. Dinner, speeches, raffle, silent auction and prizes


The Mandarin Golf & Country Club is a private, members-only club offering a spectacular golf and leisure experience. The course is friendly to beginners, yet challenging to experienced golfers. Its gentle slopes and green-to-tee proximity make it a perfect course for walking.
