On Friday, October 16, 2009, York Regional Police and the Rogers Pumpkin Patrol will kick off their annual safety campaign to keep the streets of York Region safe for children this Halloween.
With all of the excitement on Halloween night, safety isn’t always the first thing kids think about when they are trick-or-treating. For adults, however, safety is always a concern. Parents in York Region will have the comfort of knowing that police officers will be out in force along with the bright red vans of the Rogers Pumpkin Patrol that will be patrolling their streets on October 31, 2009.
