Find The G-H-O-S-T
Fri Oct 23, 2009 - Sat Oct 31, 2009

Did you know there is a ghost in Markham? Actually, starting Friday October 23, there will be LOTS of ghosts – the friendly type!

From October 23 to October 31, Main Street Markham will be decked out to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve, or as it’s more commonly know, Halloween.

You are invited to join in the fun by playing “Find the G H O S T” on Main Street. This is how it works:
1.    Visit participating stores on Main Street to find the letters that spell “G-H-O-S-T”.
2.    Complete an entry form with the name of the store where you found each letter (we’ll fill in a couple for you)s and leave it at a participating store, or at the BIA Office (132 Robinson Street) by close of business Saturday October 31.
3.    Winners will be drawn from correctly completed entry forms for some exciting prizes, including a $100 Main Street Markham gift certificate.  Go to www.mainstreetmarkham.com/ghost for a list of participating stores and what’s available to be won.

That’s all there is to it!  Nothing to buy and no skill required.

AND… Saturday October 31, from NOON to 4pm, stores will be giving away treats for the kids.  Take this opportunity to have a little fun with the whole family.  Get dressed up and come on out to the shops on Main Street.
