The Manulife Walk For Memories is the largest fundraising event for the Alzheimer Societies in Ontario. The Walk events, hosted by Alzheimer Society Chapters in over 55 communities, including Richmond Hill,are dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds for vital programs and services that support people living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

For those who raise over $100 they are awarded a "Special Edition 2010 Walk for Memories" T-shirt. High school students who raise over $100 will receive credit for 10 hours of community service.
With an estimated 185,000 Ontarians living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia, the Manulife Walk For Memories plays a critical role in supporting individuals and their families facing this disease. In 2009, more than 38,000 people will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Now is the time to make a difference and 'Walk For Memories'!
