Many years ago, I remember my father loading us all in the car for our annual family trek downtown to see the "Simpsons" and "Eatons" windows, which, with their moving characters and miniature villages, never failed to delight us kids. Main Street Markham's answer to this long lost tradition is their annual "Best Dressed Window" contest, now in it's 22nd year.
This year more than 50 merchants and service-providers are competing for the coveted "Best Dressed Window" award. To give smaller shops and services a shot at the title, we've introduced a new category for "hobby" windows.
Come join in the fun and vote for your favourite Main Street Markham "Best Dressed Window", and you could win one of eight $25 gift certificates to spend at any Main Street Markham shop or service. Winners will be announced at the Festival of Lights Grand Tree Lighting ceremony at 6pm on the 28th.

Completed entries must be received by 2pm on Saturday, November 28.
